In each work of art, in every creation, there is a reflection of its maker; an intrinsic impression which forever serves as pure and honest testimony to the artist’s nature, soul and mind.  At times, it is glaringly obvious, and at others, it is hidden in the depths.  But it is there all the same, regardless of which art variety you consider…

C.S. Lewis wrote that “We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade the presence of God.  The world is crowded with Him.  He walks everywhere incognito.”

The world is full of the Master Artist’s brushstrokes, and a reflection of Him and His truth is embedded in each one.  We are not meant to dwell on the negative, but rather we are told in Philippians 4:8 to focus on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable.  If anything is excellent or praiseworthy, these are the things which we are to consistently think about and reflect on. And God has showered this world with such things!

Join me in my discovery of the Lord’s sacred strokes all around.  I tend to reflect on nature, scripture, family, and sometimes just funny situations that I enjoy sharing.  If I have any aim in starting this site, it is to share what the Lord is showing me in everyday life and just my thoughts in general for His glory.  I hope you find it encouraging!

In Christ, HLC
